Protein Pancakes

These pancakes are not only super quick and easy to make but a great alternative to your standard pancake as they are packed with quality ingredients that will keep you feeling fuller for longer, but can also be easily adapted to suit taste preferences.


Ingredients: (serves 2)


2 small ripe bananas


3/4 cup oats


2 scoops (25g) protein powder (I love vanilla or salted caramel flavoured for this recipe)


4 eggs


1/4 cup milk of choice (add more/less to suit)


2 teaspoons of cinnamon


Method:

  1. Heat a large non-stick pan with a dollop of butter or oil (medium to high heat).

  2. In a bowl or blender add ingredients and mix together until well combined. Pour a dollop of batter onto the pan (low-medium heat) and cook until bubbles form on the top. Flip and cook for around another minute.

  3. Set aside until all are cooked and decorate with maple syrup, yoghurt of choice, berries or peanut butter.
